Getting to work on Merveille

With Majesty Digital #1 and VeganCaveGirl Digital #1 out for sale i've begun work on the super sexy Merveille #1 and this one is gonna be stonked full of action as my french bombshell punchs her way through every enemy she meets.

BATMAN BURNS...

BATMAN BURNS - For Sketch Saturday (a group on facebook where we all sketch the chosen topic for that week, this time the current Batman movies)
I chose to use the lesser known batman villian FireFly, and since he also dabbles with battling Batgirl i gave both Batgirl and Firefly the BatBale makeover... I chose not to directly copy the BatBale armour because they change it each movie so i only used loose referance from the DVD covers

With so many Supergirls out there, and DC's recent Earth 1 and Earth 2 new Supergirls which neather i was overjoyed with, i put my foot down and designed my own Supergirl who has far more space adventures - SUPERGIRL Up Up and AWAY.
I kept her design pure and simple, or you could say bold. A blue minidress with sleeves, thigh boots, a belt, choker and hairband so shes stylish but still ready for battle. I popped her on facebook and was pleasantly surprised by how much attention she got, personally i'm buzzing with the look.

I'm enjoying the new Supergirl, her costume is strong and her intro was decent, apprently we will discover she has some different powers to Superman as well
I went and had some fun doing a pinup of Kara, then printed it onto some artboard and hand coloured it with some Promarker magic, i may do more of these

Supergirl wont stop....

I may have been banned from DA for supposedly drawing supergirl.... but that wont stop me :P

Leaving DA was a good experiance, i discoverd i had been isloating myself to 1 spot of the internet.... when i wasnt going there to deal with messages and emails etc i started to spread out, i made this wicked cool blog, got my flickr account up, and theres LOADS more people on Facebook and everywhere else other than DA which was becoming full of Trolls just roaming around to drag ya down.
I'll miss all my freinds and supporters there, but many of them are on other websites as well and I would rather support websites that dont condone people covering their gallerys in nazi swastikas, bashing lesbians and allowing full on porn while artists like me and my mates get punished, used, abused and pushed around..
