wow no new updates for ages... its because ive been working hard on marvel sketchcards, commissions and building both an Instagram and Tumblr gallery for everyone to enjoy. You can find links to both of those on the side of my blog here www.comicbookboo.blogspot.com

This year i really hope to get some new issues of my own comics made for everyone to enjoy, i have my artstore working www.comicbookboo.etsy.com selling commissions and original artwork.

Boo Does NOT work with Marty

Hi Everyone, seems in the Sketch card Buiness theres some misunderstanding that I still work with Marty, I dont, we broke up last year, we run seperate companys, marty is not even in my freinds list anymore for personal reasons.

For people into sketchcards this will clear everything up, but it's alot of reading.

This seems confusing because we made sets togeather, and then I started making sets on my own when the company started to split, and Marty did the same so for everyone interested I can explain...

Marty and I produced Nevermore Alice 1 togeather, i didnt get a single card because all cards were mailed by artists to Marty who packed and sold them, Marty did keep a master set for himself (1 card from every artist).
My mum went and purchased a pack so i got a card lol just like a normal collector

Marty produced all island Dreams sets, I did the Logo for Ireland dreams 2 but again, I have no cards, never did.
Marty made Nevermore Alice 1, Island Dreams, Angels and Demons, Rock for Kids and that recent Southern Girls one... I dont know if Marty kept master sets or not...only for Nevermore Alice 1

I made (on my own) Nevermore Alice Flux, Nevermore Alice Eatme DrinkMe, Deadsexy 1 and DeadSexy2,Britannia, Mighty Zombies, kinky Clown Girls.
Marty purchased packs from DS1, Flux and Eatme DrinkMe but I picked them RANDOMLY, as i do for each and every customer/collector.

This was because, due to personal reasons, we began to seperate and produce our own sets. The split was full and public last year when i announced it to artists I work with in a private group i set up for artists on my sets.

I do NOT know if marty has been selling Nevermore Alice 1 cards from his first master set because i havent looked into it, but i do have scans so if i have to search this all out I can do.

I DO NOT keep master sets for myself, infact i have my sketchcard collection in 1 transformers ringbinder with a cool arse Bumblebee on the front cover lol and it contains cards ive purchased from artists and from ebay like a sweet catwoman from Tim Proctor and other artists.

for some sets such as Nevermore Alice Flux I sold master sets to public collectors, these were available for everyone to purchase and came with extras like badges and the cards were picked randomly and went on sale same day as every other pack. I even have records who purchased them as i hope they will buy again.

I hope this answears everyones questions, I do not cherry pick cards, i dont work with marty and I sell packs to everyone the same way for every set I produce here in the UK.
I hope i am not speaking for Marty as i do not wish to put words in his mouth, this is simply my point of view of what happend over the last few years

packs from any of our websites, UDC, Nevermore alice, Britannia, deadsexy etc, a paypal button will appear on the right hand side at 6:30pm UK time allowing everybody to purchase as many packs as they like. But be warned, packs are limited to only 200!!! so once they are sold out, they are gone.

Every pack will contain 1 hand drawn and signed Mighty Zombies Sketchcard by one of the amazing artists on this set. and you can see sneak peeks of cards over on our facebook page.

But be warned, this set is mature rated, these super powerd zombies are eating people, falling apart and falling out of their costumes.

The set is made up of classic Public domain characters such as the Blue Flame, Black Cat, the original Mary Marvel, Phantom Lady, BulletGirl, Black Panther and the Girl Commandos as well as artists own created characters and superheroes such as Britannia, Majesty etc from other UDC sketchcardsets, all turned zombie and hungry for your brains and bodys.

Dark Zodiac Scorpio

I worked on Jack Redd's Dark Zodiac card serise a little while back and  with packs going on sale on ebay i can finally share some of the cards i drew.
For Scorpio (my starsign) i created some Scorpio Girls, i would love to return to these girls sometime, maybe as a sketchbook or something

Where the Hell has Boo Gone?

Well i'll tell you, working my arse cheeks off lol, i've been drawing nonstop on commissions, cardsets, making deadeadlines, putting stuff in the mail, right now i'm finishing erotic commissions and getting Bettie Page cards compleated for Versicolours big Bettie set as well as everything else coming out of my ears!!!!

Avengers Assemble with Boo

I was really lucky to work for Upperdeck on the Marvel Avengers Assemble Artcards.

This series was produced to tie into the release of the Avengers movie coming out and being a Big Avengers fan i had a fun time working up cards with lots of different characters.
I also have some blank cards available for commission if folks want any - £15 each

I have seen some of my cards popping up on ebay and being sold to collectors etc, so if you already have any of my cards then let me know, i'll be glad to hear they went to a good home :)

Sketchcards are freaking awesome
Sketch cards are 2.5" by 3.5" (some Official cards are 4" by 5" or 5" by 7" when uncut) pieces of original art usually created completely in traditional mediums such as pencil, ink, markers, paint and more. This makes each card individual and essentially one of a kind.

Sketch cards are also commonly referred to as:

Yep those were my Alice Cards, the last one was the very first card i did for the set based on the comic cover.

The Comics had a few different Alice designs, so i just tried to follow what the comicbooks published. More cards to come :)

I havent been posting enough have I....well there is a reason for that, i carnt reveal it yet tho, but it's got me burning the candle at both ends as I try to make everything come togeather.
