BATMAN BURNS...

BATMAN BURNS - For Sketch Saturday (a group on facebook where we all sketch the chosen topic for that week, this time the current Batman movies)
I chose to use the lesser known batman villian FireFly, and since he also dabbles with battling Batgirl i gave both Batgirl and Firefly the BatBale makeover... I chose not to directly copy the BatBale armour because they change it each movie so i only used loose referance from the DVD covers

With so many Supergirls out there, and DC's recent Earth 1 and Earth 2 new Supergirls which neather i was overjoyed with, i put my foot down and designed my own Supergirl who has far more space adventures - SUPERGIRL Up Up and AWAY.
I kept her design pure and simple, or you could say bold. A blue minidress with sleeves, thigh boots, a belt, choker and hairband so shes stylish but still ready for battle. I popped her on facebook and was pleasantly surprised by how much attention she got, personally i'm buzzing with the look.

SketchSaturday is a group i run on facebook for anyone who like to sketch, any artistic level. Each Saturday a new topic is set and everyone just has fun doing a sketch of that subject and posting it in the group, it's great for getting us all to draw something we wouldnt normally or if someone was in an artslump, alot of fun.

Decided to take a stab at the new Superman design, seems a bit strange that someone so invulnerable is wearing bodyarmour....but then Superman is obsessed with fitting in, guess he wanted to look like the other super pals lol
